Does the Bible Teach about a “Season” or “Seasons” of Grace?

I write in response to a comment I received recently, from an ex-WCG member who is now a firm believer in Protestant or reform theology, about my explanation that the Bible teaches that there are three “seasons of grace” or ages of salvation.  This person remarked that there is no such statement in the Bible.  As most evangelicals believe, today is the only day of salvation.  Therefore, according to this belief, if you are not saved today or in this age, you are lost forever!

While there is no direct Scripture verse that says exactly that there is a “season of grace” or there are “three seasons of grace,” we can fall back on the wise King Solomon’s inspired observation in Ecclesiastes 3:1, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.”

If there is indeed a season for everything, a time for every purpose, why not a season of grace for everyone – a time for every single human being to receive salvation [if they will], according to God’s purpose?

Rather than rehash my full explanation on the “three seasons of grace,” let me refer you to my website articleThis Is Not the Only Day of Salvation.” Also, the articles The Divine Prerogatives,”  “Predestination,” and God’s Feasts and the Jews – Part 2,” especially that section about the Day of Pentecost.

God grant you a good understanding!
